Jr Bucs travel hockey

Welcome to our DMYHA competitive Travel Program page.  Our Jr Bucs Travel Program is designed to develop young athletes both as hockey players and as individuals. With experienced coaching, competitive opportunities, and a focus on sportsmanship and teamwork, we are dedicated to helping our players reach their full potential. Our teams are all formed by a tryout process in August of each year. Please join us as we strive for greatness, on and off the ice, and create lasting memories and friendships along the way.

Please note: If you intend to tryout for the 10u-14u Jr Bucs Red team DO NOT sign up for the Blue/White tryouts until those RED team assignments have been announced. If necessary, you will have time between those announcements and the B/W tryouts to get registered.

Tryout information

10u-14u Jr Bucs Red Team tryouts @ RecPlex

• August 20-23, 2026
• Tryout fee: $300

8u and 18u Jr Bucs Team tryouts @ RecPlex

• August 24-27, 2026
• Tryout fee: $60

10u-14u Jr Bucs Blue/White Team tryouts @ RecPlex

• August 28-30, 2026
• Tryout fee: $200

The breakdown of cost for 10u-14u tryouts:

·      $300 for Red Tryouts – If your player makes Red and accepts the bid, $200 will be credited to your first month’s dues. If they don’t’ make Red, $200 will be applied towards blue/white tryouts. If they make a team and accept a Blue/White bid, $100 will be credited to their first month’s dues.

·      $200 for Blue/White Tryouts only – If they make a team and accept a blue/white bid, $100 will be credited to their first month’s dues. in addition, there will a $100 deposit required when you register. 

·      If you do not make a Red, Blue, or White team, the $100 will be refunded to you.

·      If you make a Red, Blue, or White team and REJECT a bid the deposit will be forfeited.
